A Life Uncommon
I started this blog almost three years ago as an answer to the age old statement by fashion inclined non-influencers everywhere: “I want a career in fashion.” The blog was actually gifted to me by an angelic man who’s talents were rooted in the internet. His promise: to make me a blogger.
With a passion for writing, a wealth of retail and styling experience, a hope and a prayer; I managed to set my adoration of all beautiful things sewn, into words. The blog took me from my humble beginnings in small town Edmonton, Alberta, Canada to Toronto, The Big Apple, Europe, and Asia but that’s just the beginning…
What was once an unknown online platform from which I used to jot down my deepest most exotic love for fashion, has turned into my full time job where I am able to live and breathe detailed concepts of design, ready to wear and couture. I can say with the utmost certainty that I am doing exactly what I am meant to be doing. Living the life I am full well supposed to be living and venturing into new and adventurous lands that I am SO not prepared for.
Last year I got to talk red carpet on ET Canada, got to visit New York fashion week and attend some of the most incredible shows, visit Europe and rediscover my voice and love of blogging and got to meet some of the most interesting people. Next year is going to be even better.
Next year expect to see a lot more style advice, a lot more red carpet celebrity hilarity and a lot more travelling.
Plus… keep your eyes peeled for my new YouTube channel.
