Chloé Comme Parris Spring 2012: Wallpaper motifs and American Apparel meets Zarra silhouettes. From prints to fabrics this collection evoked this feeling:
Chloé Comme Parris Spring / Summer 2012, while fresh and still relatively new to the scene came across a little uninspired and super safe. I really didn’t see anything in the collection that jumped out and shouted “WOW”. Don’t get me wrong, it was nice, safe, saleable in boutiques but ultimately boring.
Ummm, I just noticed that no one is actually watching the show in this shot, must be a fluke:
I wanted to clarify the theme of the show with the designers but after their dozen or so family members flooded the very…very small space available in the Studio backstage(that is typically geared up for media), there simply was not enough room, and the designers stopped taking interviews. Now I rarely raise an eyebrow, but if I were the designers I’d of hugged all the family and kindly ask them to wait, after all, media coverage is vital to the continued success of a label. Oh well, like I said that is just my humble opinion.
The show was nice and I was happy to see it.
