Day of the Dead Fashion and Tequila

03/11/2011 by Mark St. James 2 Comments

Yesterday, Nov 2nd was The Mexican celebration of Day of the Dead so naturally les hombres at Tres Carnales… “Taco’s for the People”, (check ’em out for some truly amazing authentic Mexican food) threw a sweet little shindig.   Tequila, Sangria, and all you can eat Taco’s!!! Of course an occasion such as this requires you to have some fun with makeup.  Oh PS, the amazeballs feature pic is Danny Braun the main guy at Tres Carnales with an iphone camera! The hot chick with the shimering green eyes is Danny’s wife and esteemed friend, Sheri Braun.

Day of the Dead Fashion

Day of the Dead (Día de Muertos) celebrates the lives of the dearly departed and honors their memory.  One of the people I choose to honor was Lee Alexander McQueen  by incorporating one of his trademark silk scarves with skull print into the outfit.  Speaking of the outfit:

Day of the Dead Fashion From Top Hat to Bottoms:

    • Top Hat, by Halloween Store (lol)
    • Bobby Brown, Stila, and some Halloween makeup
    • Paul Smith Blazer
    • John Galliano shirt
    • Marc Jacobs gloves
    • Alexander McQueen silk scarf as pocket square
    • Paul Smith pants
    • Silver Hermes belt
    • Happy Socks (too bad you can’t see them, they have happy skulls on them)
    • Prada loafers

More party madness with friends: Danny, Erica, Alison, Megan and Sheri
