Some Bad Ass Costumes From Man Of Steel

I recently had the pleasure of watching Zach Snyder’s and Christopher Nolan’s rendition of Superman titled Man Of Steel and… although there were some really awkward and some really aggravatingly stupid moments, the overall film was really well done and I have to give props where props are due and that’s to James Acheson and Michael Wilkinson for their incredible work on designing some of the most epic costumes in a film this year. The Man of Steel costumes made the 2 hours and 23 minutes fly by.

I was teleported to Krypton, Superman’s (AKA Kal-El played by Henry Cavill) home world and was thrown into the epic battle that ultimately determined the course Clark Kent’s (AKA Superman and Ka-El) life would take. The costumes of the elders back at Krypton were amazingly sewn and pieced together that I was literally about to ask the film projector dude to pause it so I could sop up the details of the costumes.

I was also infatuated with Lara Lor-Van (Superman’s mother played by Ayelet Zurer) outfit. her high neckline and metallic finished look was perfect for the feeling of the scenes and of Krypton.
