Sweaty Pits, Why You Gotta Be So Sweaty?

Why Are My Pits So Sweaty?
The uncomfortable truth about being a human, is we sweat. Some more than others. And others… more than that. Then there are some who drench a suit coat. It’s our natural cooling mechanism and everything from mammals to fish sweat… (just kidding about the fish, don’t believe everything you read). However, I can admit that it can suck and be embarrassing.
What Can I Do About Sweaty Armpits?
Now although there are product on the market that can stop you from sweating like aluminum chloride in anti-perspirants and other prescription medications that treat hyperhidrosis. These can literally burn the sensitive skin under your arms and elsewhere and can potentially cause other more serious health risks.

But the truth is, we need sweaty pits regardless of how much it makes us uncomfortable or ruins shirts. So people do one of two things. They fetishize it… (no judgement) or hide it and live with it. But now there is a third option. Soak it up with a padded shirt.
Sweat pads have been sold in stores for a long time. They stick to your skin and sop up your perspiration. This however can be very uncomfortable, embarrassing if anyone sees them, or simply fall off so they don’t actually work. Thompson Tees has made a sweat hider that is built into the shirt and I thought I’d try it out for comfort, to see if I got weird looks in public if I wore it as a shirt rather than under my jacket or another shirt and finally if it worked.
How Comfortable is the Thompson Tee?
Upon receiving it I was obviously nervous about if it would fit me well or if the pads would be uncomfortable. I tried on the size large in black and found it a good fit. I know this shirt is meant as an undershirt but the fit was so flattering I quickly thought to wear it on its own.
The pads are a bit stiff at first and under the arm is a bit of fabric for the pads that could be taken in a bit but overall, after wearing it for a day I didn’t feel anything and it was really comfortable to wear. Also LOVE the longer length of it. Great for tall humans or simply to tuck in and not slip out the sides throughout the day.
Did Anyone Notice I Was Wearing a Padded Shirt?

The pads weren’t that visible from the average person walking by so I thought I’d test it and wear it to the mall. Mask on of course.
I didn’t get even a single look from the lady who spilled her pop on herself beside me at the food court, to the store clerks who served me Korean BBQ chicken. So all in all it passed the subtlety test as a regular tee.
Does the Thompson Tee Work?
Absolutely it does. The pads soak up and hide perspiration and the overall look from the outside isn’t noticeable at all. I have worn it under a suit coat alone and under a more sporty style bomber jacket another day and both times looked and felt great.
I would recommend this shirt to any guy or girl who is concerned about sweat marks or sweat stains ruining your nice clothing as it hides everything.
What size should I buy?

Go for a size down if you plan on wearing it as an undershirt. I definitely think I should have got a Medium and I am NOT generally a medium I am typically a L but occasionally an XL in clothing. I think the Large I got in the Tom Tee would be too big to put under a fitted dress shirt so order yours in a size down.
So stay safe and keep others safe by wearing your mask and look cool by staying dry!

Great idea. A lovely man I worked with decades ago, had a perspiration issue, and the white dress shirts he went through was unreal.,
It can be a very costly issue and pretty embarrassing. Well send him the link haha.

I thought you made one once!? I’ve never tried them tbh. Too risky. lol
